Viva España !
Sun, beach, hospitality, corrida, flamenco and paella: Spain has been one of the most visited countries in the world for years. However protected from mass tourism,

some beautifully Spanish regions and small cities, such as the Galicia region, will enable you to discover Spain in a very pleasant way.Indeed, Galicia, situated in the north west of the Iberia peninsula, is one of the most preserved regions. Life there is agreeable, far away from the mass tourism of the Mediterranean coast. The Galicia region is known for its hiking path which skimmed it through east to west: its famous Saint-Jacques de Compostelle. The non-pilgrims will find Galicia very interesting as well. Between Saint-Jacques de Compostelle and Vigo, the narrow roads furrowing the coast are splendid. Galicia is surrounded by the gulf of Gascogne in the north and west offering splendid outlooks over the cliffs and the creek highly inviting for a refreshing dip.

In the inland, the relief is hilly even craggy. The mountaintop is Pena Trevinca at 6978 feet. The climate is mild over the seashore and the diversity of the scenery and the numerous picturesque villages will lead you to enjoy unforgettable vacations.

Holidays in Spain are often linked to the discovery of Andalucía. Situated in the south of Spain, between Almeria and Huelva, this region displays a very rich culture and a very diversified natural environment. The Costa del Sol is very much appreciated by tourists. At about twelve miles from Malaga, the region’s capital, there is the little city named Benalmádena. Houses in the city-centre are white and ornated. From the top of the chapel, you will enjoy a spectacular view over Malaga. If you drive along the east coast of Malaga over thirty miles, you will arrive in Nerja. You will visit there the Nerja cave where you will be able to admire the rock paintings. On the “Europe Balcony”, you will have an almost complete view over the Costa del Sol! On the coast, you will have plenty of choice to either dip into the water or enjoy a sun bath on of the numerous beaches. On the Portuguese border, there is the Costa de la Luz which attracts a lot of surfers. At Tarifa, you will be impressed by their leaps and acrobatics! Vejer de la Frontera, certainly one of the most beautiful villages of the region, is located thirty miles away from Cadiz. The village is surrounded by ramparts and marked by the Morrish architecture. The little villages have lots of charisma but do not forget the Spanish capital: Madrid, located right in the middle of the ancient region of Castilla! With its three millions of inhabitants, Madrid gathers a huge variety of attractions, museums and monuments. Its nightlife is festal like everywhere else in Spain. In downtown Madrid, you will be able to do some shopping also in the main street named Gran Via. Before or after the fiesta, you will be able to rest right in the heart of the city in the Parque del Buen Retiro covering an area of some 118 acres.

Less populated but also interesting, Barcelona is the second city of the country and is located on the north-east coast of the Iberia peninsula. For the past ten years, it is has become one of the most important European metropolis in terms of fashion, music and lifestyle and it attracts young people eager to live unique experiences. Nights are long in Barcelona and the daytimes are ideal for example for the discovery of the famous Güell park created by Gaudi at the beginning of the twentieth century, the fourteenth century cathedral or the Las Ramblas alley, one of the city arteries leading directly to the harbour. The small cafés are inviting to have a break and enjoy a cortado which consists in an espresso with milk.

Spain savours are waiting for you!
