For those who have been to Sydney and later think about their unforgettable experiences will most definitely long to go back.

No wonder that this city is such a tourist magnet since it is home to so many famous buildings beautiful feats of architecture and breath taking sites.  “Sydney Opera House”, “Botanic Garden”, “Darling Harbor”, “Kings Cross”, and the “Sydney Harbor Bridge” are just a few of the main attractions in this lively Metropolis. The locals are exceptionally friendly and the near laying dream beaches and green parks are emerging into places that you will never forget.

First is the previously mentioned Sydney Opera House. The Opera House’s shell like roof design resembles the sails of a large ship and is so fittingly direct in the cities Harbor.  The world famous had an 8 year delay in its opening and wasn’t finished until 1973. Although the project proved to be incredibly expensive, the people of Sydney love this architectural masterpiece. It has even been recognized by UNESCO and is in the world culture foundation.

A visit to the Opera house is also well accompanied by a trip to the Royal Botanic Gardens. The park is a beloved meeting spot for those from Sydney who are looking to sit back and enjoy the city.  Skaters and joggers also particularly enjoy this area and use it to enjoy the great Australian weather and get a little exercise.  The path that leads through the park and bends around to  Opera house provides a great view of the harbor and a relaxing stroll.

The massive building towers above you and presents itself in all of its magnificence. In the background you can spot the gigantic Sydney Harbor Bridge that suspends nearly 503 meters across the river. Both of these arcs jut high into the sky and offer a special trip for those who aren’t afraid of heights. The so called test of courage can be taken both during the day and at night by hiking to the top of the bridge and enjoying a breath taking view.

Sydney wouldn’t be the city it is if it weren’t for its many world known beaches. Don’t be surprised if you see people walking around in their bathing suits carrying their surfing boards under their arms. The near laying beaches offer the best waves and give the local residence a great opportunity to just jump into the surf and enjoy the refreshing water. Another famous location is Bondi beach that lines the coast for almost a kilometer.  Many come from all over to visit this fine beach that offers plenty of cafes and restaurants in this seemingly expensive area.

There is no better way than to finish off your day with a perfect evening in Darling harbor. This portion of the harbor is now a decorated section in the heart of the city. There are plenty of internationally recognized museums, a fascinating Chinese garden, lots of events and great restaurants in the area.
